Besides completion of asphalt concrete roads and cementing of streets, the District Nazim informed that the District Government has completed five flyovers in different parts of the district while the work of the construction of flyover at Railway Crossing Ghangra Mori Bypass and construction of attached roads has also been completed at a cost of Rs.
Some specific chapter topics include complex modulus characterization of asphalt concrete, permanent deformation assessment for asphalt concrete pavement and mixture design, field evaluation of moisture damage, and low-temperature fracture in asphalt binders and mixtures.
The frequent maintenance required on some asphalt concrete pavement sections has made reconstruction with PCCP a feasible alternative.
