Milon of Croton

 or Milo of Croton

(flourished late 6th century BC) Ancient Greek athlete. The most renowned wrestler of antiquity, he won numerous Olympic and Pythian games. His name has long been synonymous with extraordinary strength, and he is said to have carried an ox on his shoulders across the Olympic stadium.
