Location: Six miles from downtown. Bordered by Saint Charles Avenue, Exposition Boulevard, the Mississippi River, and Walnut Street.
Facilities: Concessions, sports areas, jogging and bridle trails.
Activities: Golf, tennis, jogging, horseback riding, cycling, in-line skating.
Special Features: Park is home to the Audubon Zoological Gardens, established in 1884, which houses 1,800 animals. Includes a wild bird rehabilitation program.

Location: In East Memphis, Park Avenue at Goodlett.
Facilities: Picnic areas, trails, theater, tennis center, sports areas.
Activities: Fishing, golf, tennis, soccer.
Special Features: Houses the 96-acre Memphis Botanic Gardens, which includes Japanese, sensory, sculpture, and day lily gardens. The W.C. Paul Arboretum is also part of the Gardens.
