Fights for the protection of wildlife and its habitat, forests, and endangered species. Sponsors Audubon Adventures, a program aimed at teaching children environmental awareness. Maintains an activist network for members who pledge to contact their congressperson on environmental issues. Members: 550,000. Dues: $20/year.
Publications: Audubon (bimonthly); free to members, $20/year for nonmembers.
