Authorware

A popular visual authoring program for Windows and the Mac from Adobe. Widely used for creating interactive material for corporate networks, CDs, DVDs and the Web, Authorware generates output that conforms to various learning management system standards (see LMS). With no programming required, the software allows users to import Microsoft PowerPoint presentations and integrate them with other media. Authorware was previously owned by Macromedia.
