| Slated to replace AUTODIN, the Defense Messaging System provides for encrypted, guaranteed-delivery, time-priority messaging. During this period, the ASC won Autodin Switch of the Year and runner-up twice, as well as numerous 5th Signal Command and maintenance awards.
