On a daily basis, fire weather forecasters get help from more than 800 Remote Automatic Weather Stations throughout the Western states and Alaska. A $301,988 order from the Kenya Met Service to provide 12 Automatic Weather Stations (AWS) and three Tide Stations, all reporting to the Kenya Met Service for forecasting purposes. Bureau of Reclamation in Alamosa, Colorado for 25 monitoring and control panels for additional groundwater salvage wells; (6) a $65,619 contract from Enterprise Electronic Corporation (EEC) to provide and install two synoptic automatic weather stations and base stations in Maldives; (7) a $61,383 order from the Niger Basin Authority to be installed in Nigeria; and (8) a $54,484 order from the USGS HIF for SatLink2 GOES Satellite Transmitter/Loggers. |
