Avrora

an urban-type settlement in Lenkoran’ Raion, Azerbaijan SSR. Avrora is located on the Lenkoran’ plain, 15 km south of the Lenkoran’ railroad station. The population in 1968 was 3,200. It has a tea-growing sovkhoz, a winery, and an annex of the Lenkoran’ Institute of Horticulture, Viticulture, and Subtropical Crops.
