Awesome Bar

The nickname of Firefox's Smart Location Bar, which was introduced with Firefox 3.0 in 2008. Any request can be entered into the Awesome Bar (address bar), and Firefox determines whether to send it to the specified Web site, a search engine or reference site based on the structure of the text typed in and the user's Firefox history.
