We have set up links with schools in Azay-le-Rideau in France through e-twinning; with the Instituto Simon Bolivar in Mexico, where our Spanish foreign assistant comes from, and with the Leland Middle School, Carolina, USA, where a former teacher at WestDerby nowteaches.
Larger chateaux nearby include Azay-le-Rideau, which stands in a lovely lakeside setting, and Villandry, which has extensive Renaissance-style flower and vegetable gardens.
