B meson [¦bē ′mā‚zän] (particle physics) An elementary particle with strong nuclear interactions, baryon numberB= 0, spinJ= 0, positive parity, negative charge parity, isotopic spinI= 1, and mass 1234 MeV, that decays into an omega meson and a pion.
