Bad Kissingen 

a spa in the Federal Republic of Germany (Bavaria) on the Franconian Saale River, 50 km north of Würzburg. The climate is temperate. Bad Kissingen features naturally carbonated saline spring water for therapeutic drinking and bathing. It is prescribed for gastrointestinal disorders, gynecological ailments, metabolic disturbances, and cardiovascular disorders. There are sanatoriums for adults and children, hydropathic clinics, and hotels. The spa is open all year.
