Badma Erdmev

Erdmev, Badma Erdnievich 

Born Dec. 15, 1906, in the settlement of Kalmytskii Bazar, now the settlement of Privolzh’e, Kalmyk ASSR; died Feb. 2, 1979, in Elista. Soviet Kalmyk playwright. Honored Art Worker of the Kalmyk ASSR (1959). Member of the CPSU from 1927.

In addition to a number of one-act plays, Erdniev wrote the plays The Road of Happiness (1934), Siaiakhla (1941), White Moon (1961), and At the Construction Site (1961).
