Bagulals
(also Kvanadins), a small ethnographic group related to the Andi-Tsez peoples. They live in several auls (villages) in the Tsumada and Akhvakh raions of the Dagestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. They are related to the Avars in culture and language. Their writing and literature are in the Avar and Russian languages. Chief occupations are livestock raising and farming. Bagulal believers are Sunnite Muslims. REFERENCESNarody Dagestana.
