The next night we travelled into the Lubron and dined at Edouard Loubet's excellent Bastide De Capelongue in Bonnieux where we ate dish after dish of brilliant local produce.
Nonna Gorilovskaya's article ("The Mostly Sweet Tale of Jews and Chocolate," May/June 2009) reminded me of our 2001 visit to the Jewish Cemetery in La Bastide Clairance, 40 miles east of Bayonne, France.
