Beacon Rock State Park

Location: 35 miles east of Vancouver on State Route 14.
Facilities: 29 standard campsites, group camp, 2 camp shelters, showers, picnic shelter, 2 kitchen shelters with electricity, hiking trails (9 miles), bike trails (13 miles), bridle trails (13 miles), beach access, boat launch, dock.
Activities: Camping (including winter camping), boating, fishing, hiking, rock climbing, horseback riding, mountain biking.
Special Features: Beacon Rock is the core of an ancient volcano. The ice-age floods through the Columbia River Gorge eroded the softer material away, leaving this unique geological structure standing by itself. Visitors can hike to the top of this massive rock formation, the world's second largest monolith, and view the Columbia River Gorge.

Beacon Rock State park is located some miles east of Vancouver off State route 14.
Commercial salmon fishing on the main stem Columbia River is restricted to the area between Hayden Bridge and Beacon Rock, and will occur on days the sport fishery is closed.
Among the new items featured on the website are a recent research report by Beacon Rock Research and recent photographs of the Summit silver-gold project.
