Beaverhead Rock State Park Location: 14 miles south of Twin Bridges on MT 41. Facilities: None. Undeveloped, unsigned, day use only. Special Features: Sacagawea recognized this huge landmark, resembling the head of a swimming beaver, while traveling with the Lewis and Clark Expedition in 1805. Site is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
