Belki

    0.01 sec.
Belki

the name given to mountain ridges and peaks in Siberia, mainly in the Altai (for example, the Katunskie Belki) and in the Vostochnye Saiany ranges (for example, the Agul’skie Belki), that rise higher than the timberline and are covered with snow during all or most of the year. Sometimes similar-looking peaks and ridges are called belogor’e— for instance, the Manskoe Belogor’e in the Vostochnye Saiany.
