Name Origin: For Giacomo Constantino Beltrami (1779-1855), an Italian who, under the anglicized name James Constantine, explored the sources of the Mississippi River and wrote A Pilgrimage in Europe and America, Leading to the Discovery of the Sources of the Mississippi and Bloody River.
