Beni

Beni (bā`nē), river, c.1,000 mi (1,600 km) long, rising in the Cordillera Real in Bolivia, flowing NE through the Andean hills. It joins with the Mamoré to form the Madeira River. Steam navigation is possible from December to May between Rurrenabaque, in the Andes, and Esperanza, near the junction with Mamoré.

The zones currently slated to receive funds are Beni Suef, Assuit, Sohag, New Valley, Luxor, Fayoum, Kafr El Sheikh, Dakahlia, North Sinai, Helwan, Gharbeia, as well as the new industrial zone that will occupy 320 feddans in Port Said.
Twenty-three were intercepted near Beni Saf, 480 kilometres (300 miles) west of the capital, 15 off Mostaganem, 320 kilometres from Algiers, and seven off Tenes, 180 kilometres from the city, coastguards said.
