Benson, Robert Hugh, 1871–1914, English author and clergyman; 4th son of Archbishop Benson Benson, Edward White, 1829–96, archbishop of Canterbury, educated at Trinity College, Cambridge. He was appointed (1877) the first bishop of Truro, and in 1882 he was appointed archbishop of Canterbury. ..... Click the link for more information. .
