Berezovskie Mineral’nye Vody
(Berezovka Mineral Waters), a balneological, primarily water-drinking, health resort 25 km from Kharkov. The summer is dry and warm (average July temperature, 20° C), and the winter is mild (average January temperature, -7° C); average annual precipitation is 520 mm. Therapeutic resources are the mineral waters, which have the following composition:
They also have a little iron and considerable organic matter. They are used for drinking and baths. There is also peat mud. The resort treats patients suffering from disorders of the digestive organs, liver and bile ducts, and metabolism. There is a sanatorium and a water and mud bath clinic. The resort operates year-round.
