Bernstein, Carl (1944– ) journalist; born in Washington, D.C. With fellow Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward, he unmasked the Watergate scandal and cover-up, and coauthored the best-seller All the President's Men (1974), about the scandal, as well as The Final Days (1976), about the last months of the Nixon presidency.
