Bethany Reservoir State Recreation Area Location: Northeast of Livermore, 7 miles off I-580 at the Grant Line Road exit. Facilities: Picnic areas (é), boat mooring, boat ramps, fishing platforms (é), bike trail, restrooms (é). Activities: Fishing, boating, windsurfing, bicycling. Special Features: Recreation area is located at the northern end of the San Joaquin Valley at the terminus of the California Aqueduct and includes the northernmost trailhead for the California Aqueduct Bikeway.
