Location:On Madeline Island, off the northern tip of Wisconsin, on Lake Superior.
Facilities:60 campsites, showers, indoor group camp, picnic areas, hiking trails (9 miles), nature trails, ski trails, swimming beach, scenic view.
Activities:Camping (including winter camping), boating, canoeing, fishing, hunting (with restrictions), swimming, hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, birdwatching, naturalist programs (seasonal).
Special Features:Park features picturesque sandstone bluffs and caves where Lake Superior meets the shoreline.
