Location: Beside Matagorda Bay, about 20 miles southeast of Bay City. Activities: Waterfowl hunting. Special Features: Site includes Dressing Point Island, one of the major rookeries for colonial nesting birds on the Texas Gulf Coast. Habitats: 5,000 acres of salt marsh. Access: Open to the public for waterfowl hunting season and for special activities.
