Location: On County Road 292A, 10 miles southwest of Pensacola.
Facilities: 75 campsites with electrical and water hookups, showers, picnic tables, beaches, boat ramp, nature trails, interpretive exhibits.
Activities: Camping, boating, canoeing, fishing, crabbing, swimming, hiking, wildlife viewing, nature study.
Special Features: Park sits on the northern shoreline of Big Lagoon, which separates the mainland from Perdido Key and the Gulf of Mexico. An observation tower at the east beach area gives visitors a panoramic view of Big Lagoon and Gulf Islands National Seashore (see entry in national parks section) across the Intracoastal Waterway.
