Location: Big Stone Lake, accessible only by boat in the summer or by crossing the ice in winter.
Facilities: Undeveloped.
Activities: Boating, canoeing, fishing, hiking.
Special Features: In the 1800s and early 1900s, resort hotels dotted the shore, and in the 1940s military aircraft practiced landing and take offs from a runway on the island in preparation for war in the Pacific. Today the island is only accessible by boat.
