Location: 7 miles northwest of Ortonville on Highway 7.
Facilities: 37 drive-in campsites (10 with electrical hookups), showers (é), flush toilets (é), group camp, picnic area, playground, horseshoe pit, swimming beach, hiking trail (3 miles), boat ramp, canoe rental, visitor center (é).
Activities: Camping, swimming, lake fishing, boating, canoeing, hiking, showshoeing.
Special Features: Located on the South Dakota-Minnesota border, 30-mile-long Big Stone Lake is the source of the Minnesota River. It attracts anglers who catch walleye, northerns, and bluegills.
