Activities: Pond fishing, hiking, boating, scuba diving, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, hunting (Forest only). Special Features: Scenic, natural setting includes access to two popular trout ponds, Bigelow Pond and Lake Mashapaug. The Bigelow Hollow and Nipmuck Forest lie within one of the largest unbroken forest areas in Eastern Connecticut. Forest includes a mountain laurel sanctuary.
