binomial distribution [bī′nō·mē·əl ‚dis·trə′byü·shən]
(statistics)
The distribution of a binomial random variable; the distribution (n,p) is given byP(B=r) = (nr)prqn-r,p + q= 1. Also known as Bernoulli distribution.
