Bisceglie

Bisceglie (bēshĕl`yēā), city (1991 pop. 47,408), Apulia, S Italy, on the Adriatic Sea. It is a seaport, resort, and commercial center. Conquered by the Normans in the late 11th cent., the city later developed a prosperous merchant and military fleet. The duchy of Bisceglie was (16th cent.) a fief of Alfonso of Aragon, 2d husband of Lucrezia Borgia, and of their son Rodrigo. There are several churches of the 11th–12th cent., a fine Apulian Romanesque cathedral (11th–13th cent.), and ruins of an 11th-century Norman castle.

The murder by strangling of Alphons of Aragon, Duke of Bisceglie, the second husband of Lucrezia Borgia, on 18 August 1500 in the Vatican has been attributed to him, and alleged to have been committed on the dir ect orders of Cesare.
Anthony Bisceglie, the lawyer for Kaczynski's brother, David, said in Washington: ``If this conservative, government-employed expert concluded he is paranoid schizophrenic, that should be enough impetus to take the death penalty off the table.
Di Bisceglie will discuss the results of a previously reported study which demonstrated that ZADAXIN in combination with pegylated interferon alpha produced 12-week early virologic response (EVR) rates of up to 36% in hepatitis C patients who had failed prior therapy.
