Blackstone River Bikeway


Location:Completed section is between Lonsdale and the George Washington Highway (Route 123).
Facilities:Picnic area, restrooms (é), paved trail (é).
Activities:Bicycling, jogging, roller blading, cross-country skiing.
Special Features:Bikeway will run along the Blackstone Canal Towpath from Pawtucket through Woonsocket to the Massachusetts border. Route is slated to be part of the proposed East Coast Greenway, a series of connecting bike paths stretching from Florida to Maine.
