Location:25 miles west of Madison.
Facilities:78 campsites (14 with electrical hookups, 2 accessible), showers, picnic area, concessions, hiking trails, nature trails, mountain bike trails (6 miles), ski trails (10+ miles), swimming pool, playground, nature center, observation towers.
Activities:Camping (including winter camping), swimming, hiking, bicycling, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, sledding, snowshoeing, naturalist programs (seasonal).
Special Features:Located at the highest point in southern Wisconsin, the park offers panoramic views of the surrounding area. Two 40-foot observation towers are equipped with landmark locators, which help pinpoint various cities and geologic features.
