Blytheville

Blytheville (blīth`vĭl), city (1990 pop. 22,906), seat of Mississippi co., NE Ark., near the Mississippi River; inc. 1891. It is the trading center for a cotton area; soybeans and feed crops also are grown. The city also produces transportation equipment, plastic products, and canned foods. A wildlife refuge is nearby.
