Bochvar, Anatolii Mikhailovich
Born Aug. 17 (29), 1870, in Radomysl’; died Sept. 11, 1947, in Moscow. Soviet metallurgist, founder of the Moscow school of metallurgy, and a professor (1917). Honored Worker in Science and Technology of the RSFSR (1933). In 1908, Bochvar organized the first metallographic laboratory in Moscow.
