Bodmin, town (1991 pop. 11,992), county seat of Cornwall, SW England. The county offices are in Truro. Bodmin was formerly a busy market for tin and wool. A 15th-century church stands there.

An 18-year-old man and two 17-year-old males, all from Bodmin, in Cornwall, are being held in custody awaiting interview.
Ryan Croft, 18, of Wallace Road, Bodmin, Samual Luckes, 17, of Rhind Street, Bodmin, and Owen Hewitt, 17, of Bodmin Foyer, Kestennen, appeared before the town's magistrates yesterday.
An 18-year-old man and two 17-year-old boys, all from Bodmin, Cornwall, were to appear today at Bodmin Magistrates Court charged with her manslaughter.
