Boniak
Polovetsian khan who made devastating raids on Kievan Rus’. He is first mentioned in the chronicle under the year 1096 in connection with an attack of his troops on Kiev. In 1097 and 1105 he again attacked Russian lands. In 1107 he was defeated by the troops of Vladimir Monomakh, Sviatopolk, Oleg, and other Russian princes.
