Borden, (Neil Hopper) Pete (1895–1980) advertising/marketing educator; born in Boulder, Colo. He earned an M.B.A. at Harvard, where he joined the business school faculty and taught advertising and marketing (1922–62). His eight books on advertising, including The Economic Effects of Advertising (1942), were influential in developing the fields of marketing and advertising management. |
