Zhukov, Boris Petrovich
Born Oct. 30 (Nov. 12), 1912, in Samarkand. Soviet industrial chemist, corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (1968), and Hero of Socialist Labor (1966). Member of the CPSU since 1944. Zhukov graduated from the D. I. Mendeleev Moscow Chemical Engineering Institute in 1937.
