a mountain range on the northern slope of the Western Saian Mountains, in the south of Krasnoiarsk Krai, RSFSR, on the right bank of the Enisei (near its entry into the Minusinsk depression). It is approximately 50 km long, with a maximum elevation of 2,318 m, and is composed of crystalline schist, serpentinite, and peridotite. The slopes are covered with mountain taiga, and the peaks with high-mountain tundra.
