Facilities:54 campsites (14 with pads and electrical hookups), vault toilets, drinking water, picnic areas, 4 picnic shelters, 2 boat ramps, 2 docks, fish cleaning station, swimming beach.
Activities:Camping, boating (no restrictions), fishing, swimming, hiking.
Special Features:Area is located on the west edge of the Sandhills in the Nebraska panhandle. Box Butte Reservoir is an impoundment on the Niobrara River.
