Location: 3 miles west of Superior on US 60, 50 miles east of Phoenix.
Facilities: Picnic areas, picnic shelters, nature trails, visitor center, interpretive center, demonstration garden, restrooms, gift shop (é).
Special Features: Established in the early 1920s by botanical enthusiast William Boyce Thompson, the Arboretum is Arizona's oldest and largest botanical garden. Paths through the garden grounds showcase arid-region plants and trees from around the world.
