Bozdag 

(from Turkic boz, “gray” and dag, “mountain,” or “range”), a mountain range in Azerbaijan SSR, located for the most part on the right bank of the Kura River, which cuts through its eastern part. On the south, Bozdag is bordered by the Mingechaur Reservoir. Maximum elevation is 500 m. The Bozdagis composed of Neocenic clays and sandstone; argillaceous karst and badlands-type topography are well developed. The landscape is semidesert.
