Bradford, David

Bradford, David (fl. 1794) political agitator; birthplace unknown. He was a popular prosecuting attorney in Washington County, Pa. He was the most prominent leader of the movement known as the Whiskey Rebellion (1794). He avoided capture by federal soldiers and fled to present-day Louisiana.
