Branched Oak State Recreation Area Location: 2.5 miles north of Malcolm, off S-55M, 4 miles west of Raymond. Facilities: 599 campsites (320 have camping pads, 287 with electrical hookups; 12 sites have full hookups), modern restrooms, showers, equestrian camping area, picnic areas, 41 picnic shelters (1 with electricity), playgrounds, hiking trails (7 miles), mountain bike trails (6 miles), equestrian trails (3 miles), marina, camp store, restaurant, boat rentals, 9 boat ramps, 49 docks, 2 fish cleaning stations, 2 swimming beaches (unsupervised), dog trial area. Activities: Camping, boating (no restrictions), fishing, swimming, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking. Special Features: Branched Oak is the largest of the Salt Valley lakes near Lincoln.
