Botany a water-transporting element in a plant; a xylem vessel or a tracheid

Solid or flexible metal or other tubing through which insulated electric wires are run.
(engineering)
Any channel or pipe for conducting the flow of water or other fluid.
(geology)
A water-filled underground passage that is always under hydrostatic pressure.
