Brigham, Albert (Perry) (1855–1932) geographer; born in Perry, N.Y. He spent a decade in the ministry and some 40 years associated with Colgate University. He was well versed in all branches of the field and published extensively. His role as secretary of the Association of American Geographers in the formative years of that institution is regarded as essential to its success.
