Facilities:84 campsites (21 with lean-tos), 5 cabins, hot showers, flush toilets, picnic areas, fireplace, hiking trails, boat rentals, beach, nature museum, amphitheater, play area.
Activities:Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking.
Special Features:Park’s main attraction is its wilderness--mountains with tree-covered slopes, clear lakes, and fast running rivers and streams. The land east of Island Pond is virtually without paved roads or towns, but numerous logging roads lead into the deeper reaches of the area.
