Broder, David S. (Salzer) (1929– ) journalist; born in Chicago Heights, Ill. A highly respected Washington political reporter and syndicated columnist, he became an associate editor of the Washington Post in 1975 and won, among many awards, a 1973 Pulitzer Prize.
